I agree with him on the battery thing. Like it takes so much energy to drive those displays at that resolution, it’s nuts to make the battery mandatory and not have the charging port easily accessible so as to be able to use it while being plugged in.

I see the Vision Pro as more of a high quality proof of concept showing that headsets can work as an interface for computing. Meta Quest is definitely more accessible making headsets a common object in households. But even then I don’t see how either is going to be in the majority of households anytime soon.
