Yesterday, almost all the day I encountered this. At the evening that problem was not more, but today came again. In case somer admins will change things, I want to let them know about this issue. I am using Firefox/120.0, desktop

I can’t reproduce this on my end. I even downloaded the same Firefox version you’re using, and I can’t reproduce this on there either. Did you try clearing cookies?

You should update btw, it’s not good to use an older version of a web browser since they’re targeted for exploits all the time. If you for some reason prefer older versions, there’s Firefox ESR. Security updates get backported there.

I’m also using Firefox and will sometimes get logged off, though not every time I refresh the page. This also happens sometimes with lemmy.world, but I’m not sure if it’s some problem with Lemmy itself or if it’s just some lag on my end. My laptop is a 5yo potato so I don’t discard the latter option.

I happen to notice this behavior if I’m using Lemmy on multiple devices. I’m not sure why this happens. I just assumed it was a “me” issue. Probably has something to do with tokens rotating, would be my guess. The token gets changed on one device, the other device isn’t aware of it and just logs you out because your token doesn’t match.

One day it does not occurre, but another day does. For example today, right now, no, yesterday, yes. And I only use one device . Really is not a bug from auth system of lemmy ?

I’m sorry, I simply cannot reproduce this.
