I spent 2021-2022 programming for great salaries ($4000-6000 per month is a lot in Latin America and Europe) and then in October 2022 I got laid off due to a massive company downscale and I was left somewhat depressed. I found it very hard to even start looking for another job. However, courtesy of Nepotism™️, I got invited to some random managerial thing in Europe for €3500/mo and it’s not as amazing as the old one I had but it’s pretty awesome here, I don’t know any other programmer here that earns nearly as much. Solves all my problems at once except my mental health. 🎊
